Samyang’s official Korean page lists the packet at 145g, 575 kcal, six months shelf life and a June 2021 launch. It is an instant fried noodle packed in polypropylene.
KCN carries the retail multipack SAMYANG BULDAK RAMEN 4 CHEESE FLAVORS 145g x 4, barcode 8801073143357. The commercial sheet shows 8 retail multipacks per carton.
Each four-pack contains 580g of food. Eight multipacks therefore contain 4.64 kg of declared food net weight, or 32 individual 145g noodle packets.
That pack arithmetic makes the multipack much more freight-dense than the 4 Cheese Big Cup. It is also worth remembering the data correction found earlier: KCN’s cup title says 105g in English, while Samyang’s current official cup is 110g. The packet SKU here is much cleaner: 145g per packet is consistent across Samyang and KCN.
The ingredient and allergen story is driven by the cheese system. Milk is obvious, but the exact current formulation should be checked for wheat, soy and any other relevant declarations. A four-cheese marketing claim does not tell the importer the percentages or forms of the cheeses used.
The 575 kcal figure is relatively high for a single packet, reflecting both the 145g portion and the cheese-rich sauce system. That does not need to be moralized or turned into “indulgent” copy. It is simply useful nutrition data for a buyer comparing pack sizes.
The 2021 launch also places 4 Cheese after Carbonara. Commercially, the retailer should decide whether both creamy Buldak products deserve equal depth. They are genuinely different, but shelf space is still finite.
The six-month shelf life gives an importer enough time for sea freight, but not enough to ignore batch age. With 32 packets in every carton, large case orders should be matched to actual store count and expected turnover.
