Twelve 1.5-litre bottles equal 18 litres of beverage per carton. That alone tells the importer what matters most: this is a heavy household-format case.
Customs records from a 2025 shipment describe Dr.Aloe Original 41% Premium 1.5L x 12, with 720 litres shipped across 40 cartons. The arithmetic confirms 18 litres per carton. The shipment record also shows a total shipment weight around 735kg for 720 litres, which is consistent with a relatively heavy PET-bottle beverage load once packaging is added.
The “41% Premium” wording still needs the same discipline as the 500ml version. KCN should obtain the technical definition of 41% from the current product file rather than guessing whether it refers to aloe juice, aloe gel or total aloe content.
The Halal claim should be supported by a current certificate for the exact product and production facility. The 1.5L and 500ml versions may share certification, but KCN should verify rather than assume.
The 1.5L format solves a different retail problem from the 500ml bottle. It is designed for household consumption and larger servings, while 500ml is more suitable for individual grab-and-go use. Importing both only makes sense if the retailer has shelf space and two distinct price points.
Freight economics are more demanding. Ten cases would already contain 180 litres of beverage before packaging. An LCL shipment can become weight-heavy quickly, so full-pallet or container planning may be more economical.
The product is ambient, which keeps cold-chain costs out of the equation, but large PET bottles still need careful pallet restraint. A leaking 1.5L bottle can damage neighbouring cases and destabilize a pallet.
