Samyang launched the Rose flat glass noodle in July 2021, while the Original flat-glass-noodle version followed in April 2022. In this format, Rose came first.
Samyang’s official product page lists Rose at 169.4g, 470 kcal and eight months shelf life. Like the Original, it is classified as a treated high-moisture noodle rather than fried ramen.

The manufacturing split is the same pattern as Original: Sejin Food manufactures the flat noodles, while Samyang Foods makes the sauce and finishing powder. The bowl uses polyethylene on the inner surface with paper outside; the lid is polypropylene.
The technical difference from the Original version is the sauce. Samyang describes Rose around Buldak, chili and cream. That creates a different allergen review and typically puts dairy-related ingredients closer to the center of the formulation. The exact current export label should control the declaration.
Because this is a high-moisture noodle, the article should not recycle the low-moisture fried-noodle story used for Buldak ramen. Shelf stability is achieved through a different processed-noodle system, and the eight-month shelf life is longer than the six months Samyang publishes for many fried Buldak cups.
The weight difference is also meaningful. Rose is 13.9g heavier than Original flat glass noodles, and one KCN case carries roughly 167g more food across twelve units. The difference is small at one case and relevant across pallets.
