The I-Sher brand itself goes back to 1988, when Orion first introduced it as a sour chewy candy. By its 30th anniversary in 2018, Orion had expanded the brand into gum, hard candy and jelly formats. The 2026 Lemon Hard Candy is therefore a new SKU inside a much older sour-candy franchise, not a brand invented for this single product.
Current Korean retail data shows the Lemon Hard Candy entering the market in May 2026. Danawa lists the 100g bag at 397 kcal, 80g sugars per 100g, and identifies milk as an allergen. Another current Korean retail listing names Kukje Confectionery in Cheongju as the physical manufacturer, with Orion branding the product.
That manufacturer distinction matters in import documentation. Orion is the brand company; the actual production site for this hard candy may be a contract manufacturer. KCN should confirm the current manufacturer and facility on the export specification before preparing registration documents.
The ingredient declaration from current Korean retail data is a classic hard-candy system: sugar, syrup, acid regulators, flavorings, gum arabic, lemon juice concentrate, vegetable cream and safflower/lemon extract components.
